Use a gentle wash cycle and cool or lukewarm water. We recommend washing lighter and darker color bedsheet separate. Remove the sheets as soon as the cycle is over to reduce wrinkles.
Yes, do wash it because of the texture of sheets being scratchy. darker colored sheets may also have excess dye on them. Before putting a new set of sheets on a bed, run them through a wash cycle.

Recommends using mild and soft liquid laundry detergent which helps to keep bed sheet soft and fresh. Never use hard detergent on cotton bed sheet it will harsh the thread count.
Never use softener. Adding fabric softener or using dryer sheets coats sheets, reducing their absorbency and breathability. Recommends machine washing sheets on gentle or delicate in cold water and with soft laundry detergent.
Warm iron on reverse if required and nice to use iron while slightly damp.
